Like a little umbrella

This Hellebore is full of flowers and today lacking any real time to look further afield I decided to see if it would yield a Blip. Some walkers passing by were very interested in why someone should be kneeling on the ground in their front garden taking a close up photo of a plant so lots of conversation followed - one of the men offered to be my Blip but his friend told him I wasn't looking for a cartoon! 
I like the way the petals seem to form a little umbrella over the stamen and carpel as if to protect the future precious cargo.
