Had a very wet ride round Carsington water. First SE ride of the year. Was a good ride and Buddy was a superstar but the weather was crap. I stupidly left my decent waterproof in the horse box as wasn't raining when I set out and I had a shower proof coat on. Unfortunately about half way round the drizzle turned to heavy rain. I was cold and wet by the time I got back to the car park. Mike and the kids went the opposite way on bikes but there wasn't much enthusiasm from them to continue in the rain so they turned back after they met me. Still glad I went but not very pleasant having to do all my chores back at the yard in wet clothes! An evening of admin beckons.
