Pai Lau

Spent some of today in Cabramatta, known by some as Little Asia. 70% of the population was born overseas. This is Pai Lau, a gateway built to celebrate freedom and democracy. Many of Cabramattas residents arrived in Australia as refugees, fleeing communisim in S.E Asia so the community built this as a tribute to Australias democratic lifestyle.
