Still on earth

My mom enjoys looking at this colorful but heavy book about the solar system. I think the colors attract her attention, though she did also say something that sounded vaguely like "it's nice to know things." She also talked about how she'd like to be with her mother, and then something about angels.

She seems inclined to take leave of life on earth during these conversations,  but then she cleans her plate of every crumb and licks her fingers, showing unrelenting appetite.
