Afternoon Tea
Today's challenge was to photograph something on the theme "Delicious".
I spent much of the day at Whittlesford, where the Cambridge Camera Club were holding their annual Interclub Digital competition for projected images. There were 36 clubs competing and each had submitted 5 images (plus a 6th in case a tie break was needed). Proceedings started at 1.30pm, and finished at about 5.30pm. Fortunately, there was a break a little over half way through, when the club served a very pleasant afternoon tea - a plate of sandwiches, a slice of cake and a cuppa. (The photograph shows the table of sandwiches.) In many ways this was the highlight of the afternoon!
It was a good chance to meet up with old friends from other clubs in the East Anglian Federation, and was a very enjoyable competition with a high standard of entry. Congratulations to Benfleet Camera Club, who won the competition with a grand total of 87 points, but my own club came in a creditable 5th equal with 83 points. 5th out of 36 clubs isn't bad (but we'll try to do even better in future!)
