Jackdaw...

enjoying the lunchtime sun and avoiding the light snow covering the ground. I was between Botanical illustration and Book Group, so grabbed this shot. Had some shots of the Woodpecker eating breakfast, but blipped him last week.
Have kept Jackdaws in captivity, recovering or maturing, and they are very intelligent  if naughty!! As youngsters they  have blue eyes which turn grey with age. They can solve problems easily and are very friendly to other corvids.
Lots of sun and the odd snow shower today.
