Woe woe and thrice woe.

This was one of the catchphrases of the comedian, Frankie Howerd, and there is naturally much of this, rather than laughter, at gravesides.
Rather disturbingly, the stone bore my surname, but didn't have any other letters on it. Memento mori, eh... I kid you not (which, I think, was another of Frankie's phrases.)
