On a related note Mr Douglas, my alcoholic woodwork teacher back in 1970 made great effort to instil in all his pupils a habit of respecting and maintaining your tools. You should never put a plane down like that, on the blade, the plane should be placed on its side. Sorry Mr Douglas. I don't remember much from the seventies, as I suspect neither do you.
