18 Days To Go

Babysitting day - long journey to Doncaster as there was a crash on the opposite carriageway and the southbound all slowed down to take a look - caused huge tailbacks and then there was nothing after the scene.

Daughter didn’t get home from night shift until nearly lunchtime (she went for ‘breakfast’ with some colleagues and it took longer than planned).

Didn’t get out for a walk as Emily was in a funny mood and didn’t want to do anything!

Managed to install two blackout roller blinds in eldest granddaughter’s bedroom - the new street lights are too bright and keep her awake!

Home by 6 and took Finlay out for a walk - tried and failed to photograph the church in the dark. Fortunately I had taken this shot of the little board they have on their mantlepiece - a countdown until their trip to Disneyland in Paris at half term. Excitement building….
