Otter

A friend saw around 8 otters yesterday! So I had to head out and see if I could see any at all. A family of 3 had been seen in Hamnavoe by Stromness so I went there first. Unfortunately, the tide was nearly at its height and still pouring in so no luck there. I headed along to Brig O' Waithe, but still no luck, then on to around Brodgar. I saw this dog otter on a promontory on Stenness Loch and kind of waved away a couple of dog-walkers who were heading straight for it. They didn't seem to mind, though, when I pointed out the otter and said their dog was likely to bother it (it IS a nature reserve, after all!). Later I saw another much further on Harray loch (extra)
