Bye Bye Besties

After knocking the backside out of Saturday night we headed down to the farm for a hearty recovery roast. Great to catch up with some more old pals before heading back to the airport.

I was so close to looking at swapping my flight for Monday and staying an extra night - it’s never long enough and a Bloody Mary would’ve done just the trick! Sadly, I was driving the other end so that was out of the question. I was very glad when I finally got home just after 9pm.
