Monday yay

Oooh another day off did you say?
Pal's husbands birthday so we started with a surprise yum brekkie at The Paper Mill
Back for lunch to meet, a bit like a blind date, a friend of a friend who had the same surgery as me a fortnight prior. So 3 hours of shared trauma, hilarity, humility and scar swopping was had. A common experience brings two strangers together. I love how life works....and, as she was eating anti inflammatory I made up a soup, sweet potato, roast pepper, chilli and lime and many other things and it was phenomenal! Result
The sun was till shining so a frogmarch round Dalkeith Country Park saw lots of snowdrops, sunny glimpses and fresh fresh air.
Freezing! Had to warm up with free coffee and teas at Dobbies with a stonking massive Florentine. My favourite thing ever at the moment..and then to top it all off, middle boy H texted throughout the day with his Higher prelim results, A,A,A,A... only Maths to come. Gobsmacked though have had to rip up the ‘you need less Fortnite and more study’ chat. The bugger has balanced them both!
Another good day
