Duck weather

Wet, wet, wet most of the day, although I did manage to catch a quick gap in the clouds at lunchtime for a bit of fresh air.

Thankfully it dried up by the evening so Leo and Ian had a dry footie practice and I had a dry trip to the tower.

Our town High Street is now closed until April as the main gas line is so decayed it is in need of full on replacement.  It was rather nice heading to the Church with no cars about but I am sure we will all soon get very weary of the detour.  Already on Day 1 people have been ignoring the signs and driving through them, only to have to reverse all the way back again when they realise they can’t get through.  At least this might mean people finally get on board with our planned bypass as if we had that in place then shutting the High Street wouldn’t be such a hassle.
