B-o-r-i-n-g !

By no stretch of the imagination can this be described as beautiful scenery!
Flat, featureless land, uniformly dull grey sky -  and rain.
This is what I saw just over 43 years ago when I came to look at the place with a view to moving here - actually it was even worse - not rain but fog!
And still I moved here - on 25th January 1977!
People said the Fen area  has a beauty all its own - but, having just moved from Sussex with the South Downs and the sea, I didn't believe them. I do now - but not on days like today!
Tomorrow we may have one of those brilliant sunrises, a blue sky with 'Constablesque' clouds., or rainbows, or a vivid sunset. a lovely moon, clear starry night sky - or just more rain - but not really boring!
