Boots on the ground

Today I took the day off but had some things to do in the morning. I had to get my license and health card renewed. It was lined up even before the doors opened but the wait was not too long. I took a walk in the afternoon fed some hungry squirrel and blue jays see my extra shot. But what seemed most interesting was the pair of boots left in the divided section on the road.
