Woke up to ...

...... a fine covering of snow and bright blue skies .... and the open reach person in their usual position in the box outside our house. They are there 2 or 3 times a week doing who knows what. 

Interesting talk at  the History Society last night on the Forth Bridge and how it got world hertigage status.

We have an architect coming round this morning to discuss our(ever evolving) plans for an extension - we have gone through several iterations and we balance what we would like/think we need with what is a sensible/affordable  amount to spend and ideally minimising disruption.  

Then off to the Birks Cinema this evening to see 1917. 

In between times we will have to go shopping as cupboards are decidedly bare.
