Sigiriya

Wonderful day - 7:15am departure to visit UNESCO site Sigirya, this magnificent lump of volcanic rock once held a fortress & palace on top. 2000 steps up, the scariest part of the climb was the various metal staircases and steps pinned into the rock!

Visited Hurulu Eco Park in the afternoon, great to see lots of elephants but too many jeeps around.
