A very old church
The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin
Parts of this are thought to date from 700AD and the top of the tower from about 1000AD. We have quite a few old churches dotted around our county of Norfolk UK. The trick is locating them! This one is tucked away off the main road behind some trees. It took a while to find. It was open and tombs inside date from the 1600s.
A member of my camera club showed a picture of this church at last night's meeting and I thought I had better see for myself especially as the snowdrops are out now.
