Spoilt For Choice

I told you about the Second Chance tearooms a couple of weeks ago. It has the winning combination of charity shop and café. So as you are sipping a tea and toasted bun combo you can browse the jigsaws and vases.

It was cycling chum Andrew's birthday tomorrow. He's not out with us on the bike tomorrow and he could have got away without telling us but he very generously treated us to the refreshments. 

The couple seen here browsing purchased a wooden model train the use for which we couldn't fathom. A milk bottle stand perhaps. They also had a very ornate table lamp under one arm. Bargains both.

In the evening it was a trip to see David Copperfield. Terrific film. Clever and fresh and innovative. I loved it.
