Soggy Doggy

The heavens opened just after Frank and Bella left for walkies this morning. 
When they got back they were drenched. I dried Bella with a good old towel rub,  wrapped her in a dry towel and told her to lie by the fire. Which she did - because she understands the words! 
When I tell her to go to sleep she closes her eyes and lays her head down.
Wipe your feet - she does a circle on the doormat,
Look out the window - she goes and sits at the window.
However 
Bella, you're going for a shower - she hides.
Coming in the car? - she slinks off to bed (unless boat is mentioned!)

She starts dog school in March to stop her jumping up at people to say hello and growling at some dogs. She used to be friendly with all dogs but she was bitten by a Jack Russel once when she was sleeping in the grass and also our boat neighbours dog has always growled at Bella since they first met.

She's a really good, well behaved girl otherwise.
