Tuesday’s Menu

And the menu for tonight’s gastronomic tasting includes a spicy vegetable stew served with broccoli and a soft taco to be followed by Black bun and over -the -sell -by -date miniature mince pies.
The fact that I’m having to blip my supper at the end of the day tells you that desperation was the name of the game when I realised that no other blips has been taken.

Having been expecting snow it was quite a relief to find myself in town in sunshine and with dry pavements meeting up with a school friend this morning. As is always the case with these meet ups with people you have known almost all your life, the staff in the Ivy were setting the tables for lunch around us before we got the hint and moved on, still having lots more to talk about.

In the afternoon as I set out to find anything to blip, a neighbour called and we ended up walking round the policies and coming back to the Dower House for a cup of tea and a blether. No blips were forthcoming from either of those socialisings.
