Lighter

Went up to Scayles to collect the guitar case they'd ordered for me - had to take the guitar along to make sure it fitted. D came to help carry; they're a bit of a liability on the buses. The new one fits a treat, and more to the point, weighs less than 2 kilos when the red one weighs almost 7. The latter has served me (and the guitar) well for almost forty years and is a great flight case, but having not flown anywhere with it for ages it seems de trop. It can go and live in the Really Useful Cupboard.

This was all courtesy of a generous voucher given to me at my birthday by the lovely Liz and Jim. There was even some change, so I got a couple of sets of strings. Thanks, both! M xx
