Vulcan

Photo taken from Anam Cara (my name for it) looking out at Vulcan, the biggest of five extinct volcanoes that run in a row north to south.  My favorite hiking spot near Albuquerque for three reasons: proximity to home, 360 degree unobstructed view, solitude.  Other than the friends I choose to take with me, I have never seen another person on top of Anam Cara.  Rattlesnake, yes!
