Working lunch

I stopped for a quick sandwich at lunchtime. This is Holme Head bay in Carlisle. A millrace runs from the top of the weir. The old mill has now been turned into some very trendy industrial residential suites.

The millrace is no longer used unless the river Caldew is in flood. When I was a young child I was terrified of the sluice gate at the top - not that I ever went in the weir - no thank you.

I did a quick pit stop at the supermarket on the way home for this weeks supplies.

Charlotte FaceTimed us and told us she'd had her bank details nicked. Someone, using a Lloyds number had phoned her and asked her to put some money in 'their account', yes, that brazen. Fortunately she was savvy enough to recognise the plot and hung up straight away. She obviously contacted Lloyds and they have given her a new card etc. There was no money taken out of her account.

Will sat an exam this morning. He originally thought was happening last Friday!
