Cape Hillsborough

Cape Hillsborough in Queensland, approximately 50 km north of Mackay. The kangaroos, I am reliably informed, frequent this beach... I didn't see any, just my luck!! It is beautiful though. I tried to walk to the turtle viewing point but after climbing for 500m the heat was so intense I had to abandon mission and get back down to the beach to cool off. I have had my first swim in the Australian sea though, yay!!
