Old Boots

I had a bush care working bee this morning and by the time I walked the 1.5 kilometer there and back I was feeling a bit ragged like my boots.

The team for the morning removed 33 different varieties of weeds - they seem to always do well regardless of the weather. The impact of last Friday's heat and the lack of rain on the plants we planted last spring was disastrous but it was still good to get together with folk.

Our bush care group is Inner West Environment Group (IWEG) aka Bandicoot Bushcare and is part of the Greenway Project in Sydney.
