Customs and traditions

We went to the Omiya Hachimangu Shrine today! My wife wanted to pray for a healthy child (we are trying to conceive now!). This shrine is really old and famous and is also one of the largest in Tokyo! It is known as the home of the spirits that help for healthy children, so there were young children, pregnant women and families everywhere there today :)

I hope to take my children here someday and introduce them to the kami-sama at this shrine :)
