So, today our little slide viewer arrived and we were able to have a proper look at the slides.

This one had us puzzled. It is a photo of me on Goodrington beach with a ‘Sketch Guineas Girl’. We didn’t know who she was so a bit of investigating was required. Apparently there was a newspaper called Daily Sketch and they hired girls to walk around and if they spotted someone reading the paper they gave them a guinea. I’ve put a couple of extra photos and as you can see, I now have a tenuous link to Morecambe & Wise........... wahey!
