Bird Misery

This morning I was on call. I don't usually mind being on call but this weekend I REALLY didn't want to get called out. The weather remains bleak and I have the rest of the week for commuting in the snow. It's always a bit of a lottery as to whether or not you get called out, but this time it seems the snow kept the kids indoors and out of trouble :-)

So after making myself a cuppa I stood at the back door taking some photos for a bit. This blackbird looked as miserable as I would have looked if I'd had to leave the house this morning. As it was, it was back to bed with a good book. Chances of me leaving the house today now? Zero.
