Not the best of days...

...for the owner of that Toyota, but it could have been better for me, too. I'm not complaining about the snow, but it was a busy day as we changed heifers in the morning. Not one load, but three, and between the first two I ploughed the front of the shed and spread some sand, between the last two I had lunch.

Started ploughing roads as soon as possible, but it was soon interrupted by a technical problem. The piston of the cylinder which turns the plough had unscrewed itself, so I had to open the cylinder, clean it and reassemble it using threadlocker/sealant. Left it to dry for a while and had coffee in the meanwhile. Managed to plough most before evening feeding and some after that.
