EB Village Lights
Full on day when I carried the camera with me, missed a rainbow at the train station and then never found a subject till just now when I was running out of ideas.
I had a double recorder lesson this morning and my brain was seriously stretched by tonics and accidentals, so much so that my teacher gave me a children's grade 1 book to come home and cram!! I struggle to bring everything together when playing: fingering; note; tone; beat etc but we learned a new Irish Melody today which I really enjoyed torturing playing!
On the way home I went in search of a printers for some notices I need for this event. The chap at Fingerprints in Bingley was really helpful but I had a change of thought on the bus and have come up with a Plan B.
I dropped in to leave a parcel for the US with Rekha in the Post Office, a second grobag for Euan. Tony and I had a smashing long Skype with him and Becky yesterday, with lots of chuckles and chatter. He has settled well in to daycare and they all seem to be recovering well from recent illness. Nana Margaret and Grandad Alan are extending their stay which is good news too.
After lunch it was back to thinking about the event. I shot off several e-mails to different folks, then made a start on draft 1 of the final details. By the time that was sent to Tony for checking, it was off to pilates where I could have quite happily just slept on my mat for an hour.
I'm behind on commenting again, sorry folks, but something has to give for the next couple of weeks.
