The Estuary

This painting is my attempt to render in oil a photo that Gladders published on his Blip site (Arnside and Beyond) about four years ago. I think it is of the estuary at Arnside Knott where he and is trusty canine sidekick walk and take pictures. He kindly granted me permission to paint it but it took all this time to get the courage up to try it. Happily, it was accepted into the Honeywell Foundation 92 County Art Show and here it is, hanging in the foyer.
