Illuminated loo roll...

Well not quite.  

It's a little (temporary) rechargeable light in our downstairs loo as the ceiling lights are out of commission at the moment (don't ask. Too long and too boring a story) and it struck me tonight how it looks like a loo roll.  It made me smile and since no other photos have been taken today so earned its place as my blip for today.

Another small step for man and giant leap for mankind in the ensuite saga. Shower enclosure has now been fitted and rumour has it the door will be fitted tomorrow.  Excitement levels are reaching fever pitch!  

Watching the news and the European Parliament ratifying Britain's Brexit withdrawal deal and moved to tears at the sight and sound of MEPs linking arms and singing Auld Lang Syne.  Listening to Parliament's Brexit spokesman, Guy Verhofstadt, saying it is "sad to see a country leaving that has twice given its blood to liberate Europe"  only to be followed by that odious oaf Farage and his cronies waving their Union Jacks and generally being disrespectful twats!  Sad times.
