Cat fight

A working at home day so no rush to get up.. lovely.  

Mid-morning Rich could hear cats fighting outside and went to have a look. Claude and the black cat from the house behind were locked together on their sides, feet and claws flying as they were fighting.  

Rich went and broke up the fight and brought Claude in and soon realised that his foot was bleeding.  We took him straight to the vet but not before he had got blood over bathroom floor and hall carpet. At the vets, he had several injections and was placed under house arrest.

One bit of good news, he has lost 0.5 of a kilo since October - the diet is working.

He licked his paw a bit later and started it bleeding again,  getting blood over the kitchen floor and walls, he must have shaken his foot. After that he had to wear the cone of shame for the afternoon.  He was not happy.

He is now much better and the floors and walls are hopefully washed down. We have not seen how the other cat is but hopefully he is okay.
