My "Rat's Nest"

I think it was my chum ElaineB who first described "an untidy corner of personal items found in most kitchens" as a rat's nest. Well, here is mine. Cut out articles, recipes, bills, stamps, pens, pencils, lipsalve, flower seeds and a few hair clips. I often sort through it to reduce the pile but it soon creeps up again.
I'd be lost without it.
