some lessons are painful

The family took the boy and I to a forrest today. I planned on blipping one of the many beautiful photos of said forrest, but decided on this one.

Thistles.

My little darling was having a grand ol' time running rampant, and decided not to listen when we all told him not to run near the pretty purple flowers. I simply had to take a photo before the impending "OUCH" happened. He's so blissfully unaware.... moments later, he learned why we said stay away.
