Strange but fascinating

This strange but fascinating looking tree is on the side of the road at the top of Alt-yr- yn here in Newport.
It has two part stumps of trunks covered in leaves and twigs coming out of every bit of the trunks.
A dry but gloomy start but no rain yet.
