Noodling away...

Spent the past couple of hours noodling between 2 paintings:  this one is on canvas, haven't done much on canvas - usually with cold wax and oil you use a hard surface like birch panel...but i had some extra canvases around so i'm using them.  seems to be working fine.....probably can't scrap into it as much, but it's kinda good to have a bit of variation in my application forces you to try different things!

the one in the extra is on paper, and is smaller, maybe 9" x 14". 

leaving them both for the time being.   we're off to town this afternoon, meeting up with some friends to go bowling...oh my poor body is already getting worried :)
