There is a human imperative to decorate desk space, despite all efforts to make desk space anonymous (we should all be “hot desking”, moving from place to place with our laptops and tablets. Clean desks, nothing personal in sight, everything in lockers).

A colleague found this peacock feather one lunchtime.

So we have the evidence, There is a Swinton peacock. Somewhere, hiding in plain sight. Maybe it keeps its plumage in a locker until no one is around to see its feathered parade, It’s own clean desk policy. But it has left a clue.
