An audible sigh of relief

The ear thing has driven me to distraction this week, but today I was repaired, courtesy of a skilful audiologist. On walking home I passed this announcement board (for a band) outside the local pub and it resonated!

Quite apart from the swarm of wasps in my head (still there but less disruptive now other sounds can get in), it has been a testing week. I have caught up with browsing tonight but haven't commented as I would be here all night (and I think I need to be somewhere else, i.e. tucked up with my Kindle). 

Oh and I had to take Zara to vet this morning as she broke a claw, it was pointing backwards and she was not a happy pup. Thanks to a no nonsense vet, she is now minus one claw and curled up peacefully beside me.
