Restoration?

East Princes Street Gardens are in a bit of a state after the removal of the Christmas extravaganza. Not to mention whatever is happening around the Art Galleries. 

After yesterday's deluge, it looks as if the Nor' Loch might be on its way back. It might look quite nice with a stretch of water in front of the Scott Monument.

Managed to catch the Turner watercolours before they go back under wraps for another year. Looked for my favourite piece of sculpture, the bust of the Hideous Old Woman, but couldn't find her. I wonder where she's gone.

Went to see 'Little Women' this evening. The things I liked best were the quilts.
