Ironing resisters

Every century has had its marriage resisters, women who have got together - particularly in communities - to resist marriage, especially when it was the route to non-personhood. Marriage these days may be justifiable in feminist terms, but perhaps the twenty first century equivalent of such resistance would be ironing resisters. As it happens, I'm the former, but not the latter. A modicum of ironing can actually be quite salutory.
