Poor bees

The bees were struggling in the heat this afternoon when I got home from work. One was doing strange things in a flower, others were walking on the driveway and this one was trying to find some respite behind the water tank, in the shade.

I didn't seem to make much of a difference if you were in the shade or not; the heat just sapped everyone's energy.

First day back for the kids at school today. They were pretty good, apart from when the electricity at school gave up the ghost and all the air conditioners went off. They got it all up and running again pretty swiftly though, which was a relief for all of us.

Mr B has come home from his latest fishing trip. He's tired, but happy.
