Wet Thursday

Another wet day in Cumbria. I walked into Sedbergh in the morning when I needed some shopping and it was wet but with light rain. After lunch this became vertical rain and rather unpleasant. Friend R came to see us as we were going out for dinner at a local supper club. It was an amazing spot, but sadly something didn’t agree with me and I put on the entertainment for the evening by fainting. Mr D tells me I slithered off my chair and onto the floor but he couldn’t catch me. This brought the evening to a bit of an abrupt end. But at least I had waited until we had finished our meal! Once I had recovered a bit we made a rapid departure and I went straight to bed.
