Day 031/20. Erasing us from the map - Bye Bye.

Today the UK leaves the European Union.
After 47 years of EU membership, at 11 pm UK time tonight, we leave the EU, with no agreement other than to continue under EU terms for a year while we negotiate an agreement.
Everyone has an opinion of the future. Personally I think it will be many years before (if?) we see any benefits of leaving. The decision the country made 4 years ago is finally implemented. Hard times and, I suspect, a lot of difficult negotiations (fishing? agriculture? free movement?) lay ahead. We will have some painful concessions to make that many will not be happy with.
But it was a democratic decision and I respect that. We are where we are. Good luck to us in the future. We'll need it.
