Why Not?

I took a funeral this afternoon for a much loved Mother and Grandmother.  She had a handsome group of young men to carry her up the aisle in church.  She and her late husband used to run the pub next to the church back in the 1980s and the whole family like a little tipple.  When Meg was asked if she would like a drink, her reply was always "Why Not?"  so this was adopted as a good motto for the way in which she lived her life.  I wasn't sure how the pint of beer would come out in flowers but I though it looked rather effective and was certainly very appropriate.

Good to be able to hear about and be with people at this sort of time in their family.  We were lucky not to get absolutely soaked at the cemetery.
