Happy days

On Wednesday the parent of a young man I used to teach post on Facebook that she was in Belfast for a conference. I commented that had I known I would have popped up to meet for a coffee. Her reply was that she was in Belfast for 2 more days, so this morning N & I were in Belfast for coffee with Emma. We had a wonderful hour catching up, before she had to return to the conference for her presentation. She is CEO and founder of Matthew's Friends, a charity to support children with epilepsy and their parents, through diet. Her son, the young man I taught, has drug resistant epilepsy, and the Ketogenic diet has helped him. Emma is an amazing woman, a real inspiration.
