Birthday

Today is my birthday. I can’t believe how old I am. In turn I can’t quite believe then how many years I have known my three long standing friends. Where on earth did all that time go. So much happens through the years. A lot we forget about and then have quick burst reminders. Crazy.
I have had a lot of cards which is lovely as it has reminded me how many lovely family and friends I have. Many I am proud to say have stuck with me through thick and thin and some horrendous life changing times all through the years.
Shame the birthday is like last year and dealing with illness and unrest with the little ones. Hopefully we will all be better soon.
Now let there be cake, takeaway and a small glass.....in which ever order!
