Goodbye EU

Brexit is a triumph of ignorance over wisdom, a victory for the narrow world view over internationalism, a right-wing coup for self interested politicians to pocket some cash from resulting deregulation. A win for all those shady pedlars of false promises, downright lies and disinformation via social media platforms. It is the zero sum game instead of collaboration, cooperation and mutual interest. A victory for reactionaries who’d sooner see the NHS sold off to US corporations than hear a conversation in Polish in the street. Success to all those who, without being able to name a single Brexit benefit, would gladly tank their own childrens career prospects ‘to get Brexit done’. Its the best thing to ever happen to the Scottish independence movement - after all Brexit is all about division. Brexit is supposedly about free-trade whilst we leave the worlds largest free-trade bloc. It is without doubt the worst political policy decision of this century, and a lose lose lose for everyone else. No country has ever chosen to give up power, no country has ever chosen to actually introduce trade barriers before The best thing the United Kingdom can do right now is rejoin.
