A Caribbean Thrasher

Today I was hoping to post a bird blip, since my host here in Puerto Rico has been incredibly patient with me and my camera.  We have spotted several of these Pearly-eyed Thrashers on our hikes, but this one intrigued me because it appeared to be regurgitating a seed.  

Tomorrow I head home to Maryland, leaving the 80 degree temperature behind.  I have really enjoyed the brief stop in tropical vacation paradise but  look forward to getting back home to my husband, family and friends. I think my little grandson needs a big kiss from Grammy.
